The Radiant Spectrum has proudly concluded its fifth recital this year in August. From months of preparation to execution, this amazing feat would not have been achievable if not for every staff, teacher and of course, our dear parents and children, who have supported our recitals over the years.
Our Radiant Children were the stars of the show as they entered the venue, dressed in their smartest, prettiest and even creative outfits that stunned the audience! They even impressed everyone with their wonderful performances, which they spent weeks and months practising for, putting in their best effort to learn and play the scores, all for their big day!
This year, we had some special performances lined up. Apart from the sibling duet performances, what stood out was a father-son special duet by Javier and his dad! It was also Javier’s debut, so it was a heartwarming sight to behold with his dad’s support on stage.
Our Well-Dressed Award made a return this year and the atmosphere was filled with vibrancy, character and style, with each performer’s personality shining through the outfits. It was an exceptionally difficult task to announce the winners because we know every child looked fabulous that day!
A big part of the recital’s success comes from our teachers who have been teaching the children with patience, dedication and support.
Over the past few months, they have worked tirelessly at every practice session, from piano lessons to rehearsals. Our teachers have invested a huge amount of time and effort, making the recital a memorable event that everyone looks forward to annually.
We would like to express our gratitude to our guest-of-honour, Ms. Lee May Gee, CEO of SG Enable, for spending her Sunday morning together with us and celebrating the successes of our children. It was an honour to have her support and encouragement at our recital.
We would also like to thank our partners Voices of Singapore and SG Enable for supporting and making our fifth recital a memorable one.
While the recital may have concluded, our mission at The Radiant Spectrum continues. We strive to empower children with special needs through music and provide a safe learning environment for them to develop their full potential.
